JUMPSTARTING MY HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
As you know, I have started my heath journey in 2024. I am no stranger to “jumpstarting a healthy lifestyle”. We have started and stopped over the years, but I am hoping to really do it right this time and I hope by sharing my journey creates accountability for myself and inspiration for you.
Past Diet Protocol & Explanations
Egg Diet – Lost 4.6 lbs in 7 days but not sustainable
Beef & Butter Fast – Lost 9lbs in 7 days but not sustainable
Tried Phetermine – felt like a crackhead, over emotional, no bueno lasted 3 days
2 shakes and a meal – lost 3.2 lbs in 7 days
Based on the success of the 2 shakes and a meal diet I have chosen to revisit.
In the video I did not add in the math. so I am adding it here and will make changes as necessary.
Preliminaries
5 feet | 150lbs | 32% bodyfat (based on measurements)
Macros: 125g (goal weight) | ??? fat | 0g carbs(goal)
Based on past success with the shakes (protien/ketochow/slimfast), I chose to go with shakes. I define success as longterm potential (lifetime), taste, satiety. Unfortunately, Slimfast has too much sugars and weird ingredients. Protien is not a complete meal, so it cannot be used alone and for longterm. Ketochow is a complete meal. I started using ketochow as directed, but I found really good success tweaking things.
I wanted to go dairy free, so I used Aroy-D Coconut Milk as the fat. I started with one serving, but then cut it in half and then 1/4 serving to reduce the fat and trigger weight loss. Coconut Milk must be warmed to get a nice consistency. As I reduced the the fat content, I saw changes in the texture. It made me want to try other things. Like whole foods completely.
Complete whole foods was successful, as we focused primarily on protein intake. However, I still struggle with portion sizes and sometimes it is hard to track the macros and calories, especially when you’re eating until you get full.

Shake #1 & 2: 1 scoop Keto Chow, 2/3cup NonFat Greek Yogurt , 2tbs Heavy Whipping Cream
Meal: Chicken Breast and Green Beans
