Helping Black women return to themselves—fully and unapologetically
Life coaching for Black women rooted in clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
A pep in your step—and power in your decisions.
I am a content creator and emerging voice in life coaching for Black women, creating a space where growth, self-worth, and real transformation can exist without pressure, performance, or pretending.
We live in a world that constantly tells Black women who we should be, how we should behave, and what’s “wrong” with us—while often benefiting from everything we bring to the table.
This space exists to challenge that.
Through livestreams, storytelling, and honest conversations, my mission is to put a pep back in Black women’s step—so you have the courage, clarity, and freedom to be who you truly are, unapologetically and in alignment with yourself.
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to yourself—with confidence, discernment, and self-trust.
I did everything right—and still had to find my own way.
My Story & Testimony
I’m from the deep South—Jackson, Mississippi—and my story didn’t start with clarity or ease. I had a tumultuous upbringing, but I was determined to create something different for myself.
That determination led me to Howard University, where I earned my degree—but not without challenges. What was “supposed” to take four years took five. I faced obstacles, setbacks, and moments where giving up felt easier—but I didn’t.
After graduating, I struggled to find a job despite doing everything “right”—internships, experience, preparation. At my mother’s advice, I entered education, and while it wasn’t my original plan, it provided stability during a time when I needed it most.
Still, something felt off.
I found myself job hopping—trading problems for slightly more money each time—while feeling increasingly disconnected from myself. During that time, I returned to school, earned my Master’s in Library and Information Science, and became a school librarian.
On paper, I had “made it.”
But internally, I felt empty.
I began turning to YouTube for relief—and unknowingly started building a platform that would later change my life.
Eventually, I pursued another path, aiming to transition into corporate librarianship for more income and less stress. I landed a major opportunity… and lost it. I was passed over for someone more senior, and in that moment, everything I had worked toward felt like it collapsed. I was devastated.
Because I had done everything I was told to do—and still felt like I failed.
But that moment forced me to confront a truth:
I had built a life based on what I was taught to want—not what I actually wanted.
I returned to school librarianship and landed an even better position than before. But more importantly, I gained something I didn’t have before—space.
Space to think.
Space to reflect.
Space to come back to myself.
And in that space, everything started to align. I realized that my voice, my experiences, my education, and my natural ability to connect with people were not separate—they were meant to work together. That’s when I made the decision to fully step into this path—sharing, teaching, and guiding others through what I had lived through.
I am a living testimony that you don’t have to get it right the first time—or even the second.
You can lose your way and still find yourself again.
And you will.
You don’t need a guru—you need clarity
There are a lot of self-proclaimed gurus and life coaches online who profit from insecurity—creating cycles where people feel dependent instead of empowered.
That’s not what I do.
I believe knowledge should be accessible. I believe growth should be practical. And I believe no one should feel like they have to rely on another person to live their life.
I am not here to position myself as someone who has all the answers.
I am not here to sell perfection. I am here to offer perspective, clarity, and real-life insight—so you can think for yourself, move intentionally, and trust your own decisions.
Am I certified? No.
But I am experienced. I am intentional. And I have consistently been a catalyst for growth in the lives of the people I’ve encountered.
This work is not about authority—it’s about impact.
